Trudy Feaster-Gee

Trudy is a barrister with 30 years’ experience advising on all aspects of competition law and competition litigation across a very broad range of industry sectors, including in the life sciences sector. She has experience of working on secondment for competition authorities (in Brussels and London) and for household name clients.

Trudy's relevant sector experience includes:

  • Acting as a Non-Executive Director of a major NHS Foundation Trust for three years.
  • Advising pharmaceutical companies on compliance with the rules prohibiting abuse of a dominant position and on their terms for distribution of products.
  • Defending a drug company subject to a dawn raid by the European Commission.
  • Advising NHS Trusts on the competition law aspects of collaborative arrangements.
  • Advising on the application of competition law to licensing terms, including under Technology Transfer and Research & Development Block Exemptions.
  • Advising on competition law issues in collaborative agreements with competitors, including in respect of manufacturing and global distribution.
  • Designing and delivering bespoke competition law compliance training to companies in the life sciences sector.
