Kate is a commercial and data protection lawyer with particular experience in the life sciences sector. She advises clients on a variety of contracts with a focus on technical operations and advising on clinical and commercial manufacturing and supply agreements for biological products and product distribution agreements. She has also spent time on secondment at Gilead Sciences Inc.
Kate's life sciences experience includes advising:
- Astellas Pharma Europe Limited on a wide range of matters including in relation to supply chain contracts and manufacturing and supply agreements for API.
- A leading global biopharmaceutical company in relation to the application of and regulatory requirements under the Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access (VPAS).
- Takeda Pharmaceutical Company on a wide range of matters including drug product distribution agreements and ad hoc regulatory queries.
- A global biotech company on its supply of vaccines in the UK and the EU.
- A research stage biotech start-up in relation to its development of oligonucleotide therapeutic treatment and a strategic clinical manufacturing agreement.
- A number of biotech companies in relation to their template development and manufacturing agreements.
