Dan advises on agreements relating to technical operations, strategic alliances and distribution arrangements. He has particular experience in manufacturing and supply agreements for biological products and advises regularly on the manufacturing and distribution of products in the UK and internationally.  

Dan’s life sciences experience includes advising:

  • Oxford Biomedica in relation to a number of agreements relating to the manufacture of AZD1222, the Covid-19 vaccine candidate developed by the University of Oxford and commercialised and distributed by AstraZeneca.
  • Oxford Biomedica in relation to its Licence and Clinical Supply Agreement with Juno Therapeutics, part of Bristol Myers Squibb.
  • Gilead Sciences Europe in relation to a number of outsourcing agreements for core business services outside the US.
  • Incyte Corporation in relation to a number of clinical and commercial supply arrangements with partners in Europe and China.
  • UCB in relation to manufacturing, services agreements, research collaboration agreements, material transfer agreements, CRO agreements and facilitated management arrangements.
  • Brammer Bio (now part of ThermoFisher Scientific) in relation to a number of clinical and commercial supply agreements for the manufacture and supply of viral vectors.
  • BTG Plc relating to the drafting of a template distribution agreement.
