Alexandra Pygall

Head of life sciences

Alexandra is head of the firm’s cross-practice life sciences group.

She is an intellectual property lawyer and has degrees in both law and chemistry. Alexandra advises clients on licensing, partnering, collaboration and other strategic and commercial agreements, and on the IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions and strategic investments.  She also advises clients in relation to IP disputes, particularly those arising from licensing/partnering deals. Alexandra has a particular interest in using her litigation experience to inform the negotiation and drafting of transaction documents.

Alexandra was awarded the Lexology Client Choice Award for healthcare and life sciences UK 2018, named in The Lawyer “Hot 100” Dealmakers 2019 and in Managing Intellectual Property’s Top 250 Women in IP 2020 (Alexandra was top 20 in the UK).
