A biochemistry laboratory

We have advised the EMEA commercial contracts team of this global pharmaceutical company on data protection issues and implications arising in several projects, such as providing fair processing information in clinical trials and market research, terms with ad tech services providers, cookies, data breaches and social media disease awareness campaigns. Our advice has also related to the development of Healthcare Apps and the privacy regulation and contractual implications of the same.

UCB Pharma

We have provided UCB Pharma with privacy advice regarding the implementation of the GDPR and its implications on pseudonymised data that may be received by the company under its clinical trial programmes. In addition we have advised on the requirements of compiling with its GDPR obligations and obligations regarding the Human Tissues Act in the UK and similar legislation elsewhere in Europe.

BTG Plc

We advised in relation to its global data protection compliance project including its internal and external facing privacy policies, various DPIAs regarding its intended activities, compiling a record of processing and working with the company advising on its parallel obligations under the GDPR and the Clinical Trials regulations, including the implications for informed consent forms.

Cell Medica

We worked with Cell Medica in relation to its GDPR compliance project, compiling its Record of Processing and then producing related policies and SOPs to reflect the applicable processing of personal data.
